On October 21, 2019, at the invitation of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic of the Russian Federation, the "7th Global Economic Development Forum 'the Belt and Road' Russia Summit" was successfully held in Moscow, the capital city of Russia. This summit was jointly hosted by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic of the Russian Federation and the Global Economic Development Cooperation Promotion Association.

At the summit, elites from China's business community and guests from countries such as Russia, Singapore, Australia, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, South Korea, and Lebanon engaged in dialogues centered around the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, discussing how to carry out international development and cooperation in multiple fields.

In addition, ministers from various countries delivered unique speeches. During the roundtable dialogue session, guests from different countries expressed their opinions freely, explored the topics from multiple dimensions, and put forward unique insights and cooperation plans.

Xue Kang, a renowned imaging scholar, presented exquisitely-made photography albums of China's national treasures, giant pandas and golden monkeys, to the Russian political dignitaries attending the conference and the China-Russia Friendship Association. The summit was highly praised by the Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Russia!

The organizing committee also specially arranged a commodity exhibition for Chinese and Russian entrepreneurs. Twenty enterprises displayed their respective products, including graphene series products, well-known tea merchants, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly biomass energy stoves, Sichuan brocade and embroidery from China, various intangible cultural heritage products, health foods, etc., which facilitated transactions.
